Who is Metamorphosis?

Metamorphosis  is run by a collective of volunteers who believe in helping LGBTQIA+ youth, families, and allies feel welcome, and confident in their appearance. As a mutual aid project—and not a  charity—we exist as a form of political participation, one in which  participants take responsibility for the caring of one another and  changing our political conditions. In our first year of operation, we  have given freely $13,000 in stylish clothing at a dozen events in and  around Orlando, Florida, and have recently expanded to the Philadelphia  area. Our average takeaway per participant totaled $81 worth of donated clothing! We also crowdfund on our social media  platforms & we have raised a total of $2,725 for seven different  individuals in need of hormones, housing, and other necessities.

Once every other month we do a crowdfunding campaign on behalf of an LGBT individual. We do this for various reasons including but not limited to:

-Housing

-Hormones

-Food & Necessities

-Gender Affirming Surgeries
